Isamu Abe Prize

The main purpose of the Isamu Abe Prize is to encourage people in the field of control systems development. Limited to those in the early stages of their career, the prize seeks to recognize innovative ideas, achievements and applications.

The Isamu Abe prize at PCaPAC 2008 in the amount of 1000 EUR was awarded to Elke Sombrowski from DESY, Germany, for her work with jddd (Java Doocs Data Display) for the creation of numerous new control panels for PETRA Vacuum Controls.
